Diagnostic kit for dengue ns1 antigen is an in vitro colloidal gold assay for the qualitative detection of dengue ns1 antigen in serum/plasma/whole blood samples. It is intended to aid in the rapid diagnosis of dengue virus infections. The result can be obtained within 15 minutes.
About Dengue
Dengue fever is caused by dengue virus, it’s divided into 4 serotypes of DENV1~4. The acute infectious disease’s transmitted by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitos, and it's commonly seen in tropical and subtropical areas. Patients infected with dengue virus for the first time normally have relatively mild clinical manifestations, which can be asymptomatic latent infection or mild and typical dengue fever. Secondary infection of dengue virus has more serious conditions as well as clinical manifestations of increased probability of dengue hemorrhagic fever and shock syndrome and high case fatality rate, which makes it an infectious disease of serious harms.
